“This hotel has several buildings in the stockade district. The one I stayed at was on Pearl St, which I suspect is their newest acquisition. It has potentential, but I had the feeling it wasn't quite done. I would certainly stay here again, just in a different building.”

“We were a group of friends spread over a few rooms - our main purpose was to catch up, hang out together and let our kids play together. We did that and more at the cute little pool, the big yard with badminton set up! Everyone was super nice, accommodating and friendly! Highly recommended little motel. Walking distance to the Main Street for lunch, pizza take out, icecream etc!”

We enjoy sending good reviews but in this situation we can not and want to alert fellow travelers what we experienced. We were so disappointed in the accommodations that we left a night early. “Great weekend stay. Staff was a highlight. Hiking trails out the back were a low light, but great hiking minutes away. Very clean, quiet, and the Mountain Brauhaus restaurant across the street was killer for some traditional German food. If I could change one thing, it would be to add some parking closer to the entrance for loading and unloading.”
